A tribute from Amazwi South African Museum of Literature
Amazwi is deeply saddened by the passing of Zoë Wicomb earlier this month. In February 2020 Wicomb visited Amazwi for the opening of an exhibition on J.M. Coetzee. Part of the programme was a day of discussions and reading by South African authors. Wicomb read extracts from 'Still Life' which was published later in 2020, and gave the audience a sneak peak of the soon-to-be-published work. Some photos of that event are included below.

Dr Sindiwe Magona turns 80 this year! it is indeed an exciting time for all in the literary space and the public at large.
Dr Magona is an inspirational figure in South Africa.
